Nicky is looking good at 10!
Great Grandma to this litter, Bee, is 13 now and can be seen on our retired page!

This litter is different in many ways.  First off, Gracie had to have an emergency C-Section and she was a couple days past due, and everyone made it!  Secondly, we are participating in a dark whelping study and a hip dysplasia study using traction mats.  You can find more about these studies on the Institute of Canine Biology site on Facebook with Carol Beuchat.  We are very excited about these changes to our whelping/rearing program!

Happy Birthday!

These puppies were 19 oz - 16 oz! Very uniform litter!  They were a bit past their due date, but all are doing well!

Obviously still under the influence of good C-Section drugs.....Lol.

8 days old, resting in their warming box while I prepare to change out the traction mats!

One week and one day old now!  Growing so fast that we had to change the mats out to a larger sized hole! Notice how there is a gap between the mats now so they will have better footing!

3 Weeks old!

Big week!  Continuing worming, nail trimming, and now that teeth are coming in they begin getting food soaked in milk!  They are getting better using the litter box and now are more mobile and active so MORE toys!!!   We set up an exercise pen in the house so they are getting used to all the dogs walking by, yummy smells from the kitchen, the noisy vacuum, TV, etc, etc.

4 Weeks old!

More wormings, nail trimming, house time, and patio/lawn time!  Lots of fun as it should be for these beauties!
